What is Pedorthics?

Canadian Certified Pedorthists - C. Ped (C) - are foot orthotic and orthopaedic footwear experts. They are one of the few healthcare professionals trained in the assessment of lower limb anatomy, muscle and joint function. With specialized education and training in foot orthotics and footwear, Pedorthists help to alleviate pain, abnormalities and debilitating conditions of the lower limbs and feet.

What are Custom Orthotics?

A custom foot orthotic supports, aligns, prevents or corrects mal-alignment and improves functioning of the foot. Used along with proper footwear a foot orthotic can be effective in helping to treat a number of foot and lower-limb problems including:
